A promise made

Bible 2Hebrews 10:35-36
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Day 5 of the 28 Day Challenge

A promise made is a promise kept… At least that is how it is with God.  If He speaks it, He shall bring it to pass.  The Bible even tells us that God’s promises are yes and amen (so be it).

To receive a promise, you must first believe the promise…that is you have to believe the promise is for you…

Every now and then God has me go back through my journals to look at what He has already spoken to me.  Re-reading the words He has spoken reminds me that I am not forgotten.  His words ignite my faith and renew my hope.  My hope, my confidence must be in God and His faithfulness.

The Bible reminds me not to throw away my confidence because it is what helps me to persevere, to endure through to the end of my faith.  The end of my faith is the manifestation of His promise.  Today God encouraged me by confirming some things that He had already spoken.

What promise are you waiting see fulfilled?  Just remember that you are not forgotten.  God knows right where you are and He knows just how to get His promise to you. His ways are not our ways, but His plans are good and He wants to manifest His goodness in your life…

Don’t give up… don’t quit… just stand!!!

Father I pray that You would encourage today.  Encourage the one reading to know that You have not forgotten Your promises.  Breathe fresh life into the dreams that have faded into the background.  Whisper Your words of life.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Be encouraged!
